Apparently I'm back. Avery tells me that this blog post marks my big return to the blogosphere, or whatever people call it. I really wasn't aware that I had gone away, but if others viewed it that way... Hooray. I'm back.
Truthfully, I haven't been gone, I've just been busy. I'm writing again and I'm acting again. But you know that, I'm sure. What I am not doing is skating. Chris and I did some stuff for the Bolero anniversary, of course, but that's the extent of it! There have been rumors that we're going to do all sorts of things (Do you seriously think we'll do "Dancing WIth The Stars"? Really, people?) but we really don't have any plans. He has plans but we don't have plans. Other than that, I've been gearing up for George and Amal's wedding. I couldn't say anything for a while, of course, but now it's all confirmed and official.
I've been asked to comment on some rumors. Some I can discuss and some I can't. A big one going around is that Matt Damon will be George's best man (or person...). Nope. Not true. Matty is a very, very good friend. But the best? Hmmm. Think harder people. And then there are the rumors as to where the wedding will be. Lake Como is out. Don't give that one another thought. Augusta, Kentucky? No way. He loves that place too much to subject it to the media circus. So, what about the Highclere Castle "Downton Abbey" rumors? Well, stay tuned on that one. Let me just say this: When George married Talia he whisked her away to Vegas in a Winnebago to do it. He'll do better than that this time. I'll see to that.
Okay, well...I think that's it for my great return. I suppose there will be more to come, when there is something to say. But for now, I just hope people quit teasing poor Matty with the possibility of standing up for George. I've got 35 years invested, Damon. You don't stand a chance...
